DAY EXPO MANAGER
"Hi! My name is Avery and I have been apart of the LHS Science Expo since sophomore year. I designed the 2021 and 2022 Science Expo logos. Last year the project I presented was the large catapult! We catapulted different sized objects to help attendees learn about physics. In third grade I attended Bonny Slope Elementary School and my teacher was Mr. Hammond. After senior year I hope to major in environmental science or biology in college."
"Hi, I’m Steven Fukui. I’m a sophomore and this is my second year involved in the Science Expo. My third grade teacher was Mrs. Schreiber at Foskett Ranch. Outside of school, I like hanging out with my friends and playing video games. I’m the manager of the videography committee in the Science Expo, and we are involved with a lot of the filming and videos of the event. Last year, I made one of the promotional videos for the Science Expo."

"Hello, my name is Quest Rhodes. I am a junior (11th Grade) at Lincoln High School. I have been part of the Club for 2 ½ years. I love all things science and technology, and it is my life goal to become a doctor. Last year, I created a (digital) project about model rocketry, helped build the website, and compiled other teacher resources for third grade classrooms. This year, I am the Layout Manager, and will also be performing an in-person brain dissection."
"My name is Mariam Karimi, and I am a Junior at Lincoln High School. This is going to be my first year attending Lincoln High school and my first year participating in the Science Expo club. I am also the Fundraising Manager for this year and I’m in charge of constructing plans to bring in donations for this club. Last year I took Physics and I did a Rube Goldberg Machine project. My hobbies include traveling, spending time with my family, and playing soccer."

My name is Shannon White. I am one of the Saturday Expo Managers and a Senior at Lincoln High School. We are mainly responsible for preparing and cleaning up the Science Expo, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. We are in charge of bake sale donations, scheduling and informing our committee members, and providing raffle tickets. We also keep track of the visitors and sums earned from each booth. I have been in the Science Expo Club for 3 years and was previously the Scrapbook Manager. This year, my biology project is Strawberry DNA. Last year, I did my physics project on Fun with Giant Bubbles! In Sophomore year, I made Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream for my chemistry project. When I was in Ms. Larsen’s 3rd grade class at Creekside Oaks, I was able to go to my first Science Expo and I remember having a lot of fun. After highschool, I plan on attending a four year university to study either Human Biology or Biology.

Hey, I'm Chloe Downs! I'm a Junior this year and I am the Elementary Outreach manager! This is my second year as the E.M. manager and my third overall in the club. This year I am doing two projects for the expo and in third grade my teacher was Mrs. Dumler from Creekside Oaks. In my committee we travel to different elementary schools and do mini presentations to attract visitors to the Saturday Expo and to make students excited to attend the Day Expo.

Hey there! I'm Hunter Janssen, and I've been a part of the Expo since freshman year, though more specifically I started my journey at First Street, in Mrs. Gonzales' third grade class. I've worked my way from a runner, to the Day Expo manager, and this is my second year as the staff project planner. Its been a huge committment aside from track, music, AP classes and other classes, but its 100% worth it. I've applied to several colleges like Stanford, UC Davis, and Cal Poly SLO to major in mechanical engineering. Hope you enjoy the Expo!
